The Zinnias of Sanctuary Gardens are a unique blend of colours and forms, created through open pollination. Seeds are carefully collected from the most beautiful of blooms and then shared to become the next generation of flowers grown and enjoyed in gardens beyond. Each season, they are being fine tuned through intentional selection, as the breeding program evolves.

Proceeds from the sale of the seeds from the Sanctuary Gardens zinnia breeding program are being donated to Helen’s Acres Community Farm. Located in Kelowna, B.C., it is a 24-acre vegetable farm that works with volunteers to grow a variety of fresh produce to donate directly to local social agencies.
